Jeep Wrangler TJ to JK Axle Conversion 1 Ton Aluminum tie Rod and Drag Link Steering Flip Kit. This kit is specifically designed to fit a JK axle under your TJ/LJ. The drag link uses the factory pitman arm.

The factory JK tie rod is made from a hollow thin-wall tube. The problem with most aftermarket units is they are still made of steel which once bent will stay bent.

Our tie rod and drag link are made with 1.5 inch Solid 7075 aircraft aluminum. 7075 aluminum carries a memory to it. When it is bent, it pops back into place!

  • Hexed ends for easy adjustment
  • Right and left hand threaded offset 1-ton tie rod ends for one-handed adjustment on toe settings
  • Greaseable 1-ton tie rod ends
  • Taper sleeve provided for easy install
  • Correct steering geometry after lifting 4 inch or more

Please Note:

  • AEV or stock Rubicon wheels require a 1.5 inch wheel spacer
  • 17 inch wheel with a 4.75 inch backspacing or less required
  • Basic drilling required
  • 4 inch lift or higher recommended
  • Raised track bar bracket also recommended for best steering quality on the road
